100X100 Burger Patty Party. I dig the Double Double, I cringe at the thought of the 6X6. But a 100X100. Talk about burger love.

Day-old news, Sean Penn's brother Chris Penn passed away. He did Reservoir Dogs, and was the voice of Officer Pulaski in one of my favourite video games: Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. Rest in Peace, dude.

Brilliant I say. Brilliant!
--
Mcdonalds is handing out "ampao" envelopes (those red chinese-good luck envelope thingies) -- they suddenly reminded me of one of my closest friends Marco. Back in college, he lodged with me and my thesismates; since we still had class in the morning he'd ride with me to school and back. Leaving our friend's house and heading over to Mcdo for drive-thru breakfast was a routine we had for over 3 months. Not counting the times we'd go back to the drive-thru for dinner; we were able to collect a substantial amount of these "envelopes", and for some time we were saving a LOT of money really getting our "mileage" out of all the "ampao". So yeah, after seeing the ampao envelopes, Iris showed me these old pictures she took of my barkada + Iris's trip to Bolinao. Marco, if you're reading this come home you dawg!
Heading home.
Posing with my Piranhas.
Beached whale.
My favourite restaurant in the province. Jam Sweet Jam.
100 Island Tourist shot.
Dutch Beach Resort Bolinao, Pangasinan. Cheap. Beautiful. No corkage. Plus the dogs are hella cute!
Boy bonding.
Bading pic.
Ahhh. This is the life.
Sickest craziest bastard I've ever known.
Oh yeah, that's sand in his mouth!
He ends up puking out all of that squid afterwards! Haha!
More.
Model pose.

Thanks to my bro for dropping off my adaptor at the office; my fingers and the analog stick on my PSP can finally rest.
--
So yeah the new Macbook's out. My first qualm is the lack of a Firwire 800 port, I mean the older Powerbook G4's have it -- why take it out of this new one? Hmmm. Other than that, this baby is beautiful. Although I'm kinda holding off for the next iteration or version. Hmm..
--
Iris got herself an iPod Video last week. She's going gaga over the video-capability (I put some trailers from Apple's site on it); I'm also into the mobile-video-viewing thing -- I watch some of my bit torrent downloads on my PSP when I'm waiting in line, or when Iris is shopping. Hehe! Oh and with that, check out Googlevideo's new feature. They've got new download options for videos; you have a choice of downloading the video for vieiwing on your Mac/PC, PSP or iPod Video. Coolness.
--
Outrun 2006 looks cool. Sega genesis memories. :)
--
Front Mission 5: Scars of the War. OMFG. Can't wait for the US version.
--
Check out this guy's insane collection of Sega stuff.

Can't wait for Steve Jobs' Keynote speech at Macworld. Can he say Intel-powered Powerbook G5's? I'm tuning in to Apple's site the whole day tomorrow, to try and catch the webcast.

Finally! We have internet at the office, and getting the whole thing up without the incompetent Smart Wifi customer support people's help; so much for the promised 24-hour support -- then again that goes for every other dsl/broadband provider here in the Philippines. It seems we're outsourcing too much of our good customer-support "talent".
--
Here's a Nike Air Max 360 flash drive for you Nike freaks. I personally would want an Adidas Samba one or the ever-elusive Adidas Team Zissou's !
--
Currently addicted to Top Spin (c/o Ramon) -- and am naturally drooling for Top Spin 2 and Burnout Revenge 360! (Please come out on the PS3, and PSP!)
--
My PSP's already drooling over these 4GB and 8GB Mem Stick Duo's Sony announced at CES 2006. This would've been cool, but 4GB and 8GB of storage + Homebrew. Damn. Win a Katamari Damacy PSP pouch. I want.

Smart WiFi customer service sucks ass. PLDT owns them I heard, go figure. The CSR person assigned to handle my problem last night with the office-internet connection took over an HOUR for him to tell me that a person from Technical Services would call me about the problem. Fucker kept on telling me to reboot, release the IP's, etc even change the fucking browser (READ: if your system requires a specific kind of browser for it to work properly, you're more or less fucked). If it wasn't for my mom and dad celebrating their 27th!!! wedding anniversary last night, man was my Friday ruined. Peking Duck dinner at Gloria Maris kicks ass!

I'm off to watch episode 1 of Elfen Lied. Lia says it kicks ass.

So yeah I got myself one of these for X'mas (one of the reasons why I haven't been able to blog, let alone level in WoW).
Am loving it to bits. WiFi surfing, GTA: LCS, Lumines!!! Wipeout Pure, Ridge Racer, oh and GT4 is going to be ported to this! Mwahahahaha! Mwahaha! GT4-on-the-go! Wooot!
--
So yeah I've been busy with work too. A couple of people got fired from work this week, so everyone in the office is pretty much juggling the pending jobs those managers left behind, me included unfortunately.
Oh yeah, traffic pretty much appeared out of nowhere today, well I pretty much expected it seeing how everyone's going back to the grind -- I just wish that the roads were back the way there were last Monday and Tuesday. Two days of driving bliss I tell 'ya, now gone down the drain. Working all the way in Greenhills and living in Paranaque's a pain in the ass (not to mention the wallet)! 50 pesos for toll, 50 pesos for parking, I bring my lunch to work so that's a relief. Tsk.
--
So I'm kinda following suit with some of my friends who've managed to get their resolutions/to do list/wish list down for the year 2006. I'm a noob in this thing, so if what I come up with isn't exactly one of the previously mentioned lists -- bear with me.
2006 should be the year in which I...
1. Switch.
2. Get some spiritual healing done (it's only recently that I felt how empty I was of HIS presence -- and being able to experience HIS presence again felt really good).
3. Take better pictures, hopefully with this baby.
4. Get a Scuba license.
5. Hit the gym regularly.
6. Save more moolah, and resist impulse buying.
7. Buy less model kits, and build more of them.
8. Read my growing shelf full of books.
9. Watch all the DVD's I have, and sit through every second of commentary and additional features that came with them.
10. Work on my application for an MBA.
11. Stash up on work-clothes. I'm a shorts+T-shirt person, so donning the corporate/business look is a BIG adjustment for me. :(
12. Burn, backup, and watch all my downloads.
13. Add more kickass restaurants and eateries to my now long list of places to pig out.
14. Tackle Diabetes head on, I still avoid discussions about my sickness until now.
15. Learn Pranic Healing. Yeah, I'm into that.
16. Defend comics!

Happy New Year Y'all!
Still recovering from Holiday-food-binge-ing, and gearing up for work tomorrow. :(
Lemme leave you with this site that has a buttload collection of the crates and barrels US gamers've encountered! Woot! See how many you can recognize!
