Emmys
Who watched the Emmys? I was happy to see The Soprano's winning, again. Hehehe!
It was a bit frustrating watching the Emmys actually, makes you really envious about the shows Americans get to watch. Uncensored pa! Hay..
Who watched the AR5 finale? Did your team win? My team won! I won't say who they are, yet, as some of you might've not been able to watch yesterday's set of airings. Hmmm
Yay! This is cool. CSI: NY. YIPEE!! YIPEE!! I got wind of this show through the Emmys! Mwahaha!

I took Iris to the chocolate buffet over at The Manila Peninsula last Friday (thanks, Ramon!), my was that a sinful-feast..And I mean, sinful. All the chocolate you can eat, and in every imagineable form (fondue, crepes, truffles, cakes, "shakes"(?)). Of course I wasn't allowed any because of my diabetes, so I just sat across Iris. Hay...Frustration..Anyway, that's all I'm blogging about that, nalulungkot lang ako lalo eh. Do go and try out the buffet! It'll only be until the 25th of September, which'll make this coming Friday and Saturday your only chance to go and be sinful. Hehehe! It's Php 495 ++ for the buffet, and you get a "pot" of tea or coffee with it. Get the tea, Iris told me it was a big help, oh with the "chocolate-high" you get...
I'm saying goodbye to my dad's laptop which I've been using for over a month already. My PC's fucked up, so I had to use this. I've to get a new hard-drive, ASAP.
Saw Ghost In The Shell 2: Innocence. I miss all the action, G.I.T.S 2: Innocence was just too philosophical at some parts that I just wanted to get on with the action. Though, I've to say that the animation and the CG sequences on this one is top-notch.
Stuff I've seen this week: Sick and Napoleon Dynamite. I loved Napoleon Dynamite, it's not like Shaun of the Dead or Harold and Kumar which had me in stitches half of the time, N.D had me nodding and smiling each and every second of it. Hilarious stuff!
I'm listening to: Old Rivermaya songs...
I'm saying goodbye to my dad's laptop which I've been using for over a month already. My PC's fucked up, so I had to use this. I've to get a new hard-drive, ASAP.

Saw Super Size Me yesterday with Iris. I can't look at the Golden Arches, The Happy Meal, a Quarter-pounder, hell even the Chicken Nuggets the same way again. Me and Iris were just overwhelmed by the whole film. Everything about it, the data the researchers were able to gather, the interviews and so with the effects on Morgan Spurlock (director/producer/guinea pig) of the Mc-Diet. Scary stuff I tell ya. You've to see the film to know what I mean. I think it's just the "American" way of having everything SUPER SIZE. They have SUPER SIZE CARS which guzzle gas like a thirsty camel, they have SUPER SIZE malls, SUPER SIZE everything actually. And it was really shocking to see how our local Up-Sized Mcdonalds meals pale at even their medium-size meals. I mean c'mon, the Super-Sized Double-Quarter Pounder (yeah! meron pong ganyan pala..) took Morgan Spurlock over 22 minutes to finish. Crazy. Crazy stuff. Watch it, ok? But if you love your happy meal, quarter pounder, and specially the chicken nuggets! do try to think twice about watching it though. Hmmm, come to think of it, watch it na ren! Hahaha!
Oh and I'll leave you guys with the Super Size Me song which I was pretty much singing after watching the film...Hehehe!

Been amiss about updating for the past few days. A lot has happened, I think. Hehehe. Will do a big update as soon as possible.
Some stuff that has been going on:
-I've gone back to my gym-regimen. MWF I go lift weights, and I plan to go jogging every day. So yeah I think that's good.
-Finally I've the time to watch all the films I've been downloading off BT plus movies I have on DVD. I've watched so far: Elephant, Comedian, Yakuza Graveyard, Adaptation, Knockaround Guys, Shaun of the Dead, Harold and Kumar go to Whitecastle, Battle Royale 1 & 2, The Tale of Zatoichi, and a couple of Discovery and History Channel documentaries.
-I just learned yesterday that I passed all my subjects this term, well except for the god-damned thesis. So yeah, I'm finally done with all the exams, quizzes, projects, etc. Yeah. Fuck may thesis pa ren nga lang, hassle promise.
-My body-clock's fucked up. I sleep at 7pm wake up at 1am, and just keep on going 'til 7pm again. Hay. Hassle.
So there.
