So..Cinemanila's starting tomorrow. And if you guys aren't doing anything, go out and watch watch watch -- if I wasn't busy with the thesis, I'd be doing just the same. :)
And a hilarious flash-thingy about Lindsay Lohan's, you know. ;)

To those who have livejournals, even to those who don't. This has got to be the most twistedly-cool-crazy scripts/pages around.

Tulip's sleeping over at Iris's tonight. I miss her! Well, both "hers", Iris and Tulip! Iris and Me are turning 2 years on Thursday! Hooooray for that!
I fucking lost my allowance for the week. Fuck! Hassel ang shorts ko kasi, pagkalaki nang mga bulsa, di mo alam kung ano nangyayari. Fucking lazy me was just too, er, lazy to tuck the cash into my wallet. Fuck. So yeah, it's a Wednesday and I'm fucking broke as hell. Tae.
Thanks to BitTorrent, I've been able to watch movies which can't be had at local Video-stores, and can only be ordered online.
I just finished reading through Alan Moore's Top Ten. I loved it, every bit of it. Too bad the whole series just spanned two volumes. Damn, I need to get more "Moore".

It's frustrating, strolling through Bibliarch and Power Books Glorietta, with just 200 pesos in your wallet. It's equally frustrating spotting Bibliarch's über-cool and über-expansive selection of Design books, Graphic novels, Coffee-table books, too. Plus, finally, converting their peso-to-dollar exchange rate for their Comic-books comes out to just under 1$-50 pesos. Fuck. Such is life. I'd love to come back, though, and repeat the experience..someday, hopefully without the frustration.
To my comic reading friends, is Jinx - Brian Michael Bendis, any good? I'm thinking of picking it up, for around Php 1,450 I get 480 pages of story, art, etc. pretty good, noh?
Oh and I'm saving up for this. Though, I heard from a friend that it'll retail for around $40 when it comes out, still, the entire Bone collection in your hands!
And I've recently taken to "spoiling" my dachshund. Her name's "Tulip", and she's one spoiled dog. She sleeps in my room, has a boat-load of chewy-toys (courtesy of me and my brothers scavenging for some old toys). I'll take pictures of her soon, and post 'em here.
Oh and Firefox v.0.9 is out.
And, lastly, there's been an "Ocean's 12" trailer lurking about here.

I've been taking a liking to Webjay.org lately. Think of it as peer-to-peer-internet-radio. I like the concept, though I'd doubt the RIAA would. It's, Kazaa radio, if you "know" how to make "it" happen.. ;-)
-
So people with Yahoo! email addresses got a treat today with this. Yep! an additional 100MB, plus 10MB maximum attachment cap. :)
-
And here's a how-to on making your iPod into a pirate-radio-station. Scary. Hehe!
-
Oh and you guys might also want to check out the "The Bourne Supremacy" trailer.
-
Plus, iTunes 4.6 is out.

Things have been sooo busy lately, haven't had time to blog -- or even drop by a meeting of a society I just recently became a member of, the International Plastic Modelers Society of the Philippines: Bert Anido Chapter. Even the books I've been reading have taken the toll of my trying to finish my thesis. Bummer.
//
SO I bought a few books today. Well my mom paid for them, she spoils me on books, har har.
So I got:
American Gods by Neil Gaiman - I had the unproofed-press-copy for some time, I was just wondering how the one released to the public "read".
Good Omens by Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett - I've been meaning to pick this book up, but haven't been able to come by it in the past. So seeing it this afternoon at National, and picking it up was just pure "instinct".
Einstein's Dreams by Alan Lightman - Aside from the "accord" the book has been able to earn, I liked Martin Amis' Einstein's Monsters, don't ask me why I had that as "reason" for me to pick this up. Hehe! I'm weird that way.
The King of Torts by John Grisham - I'm a big Grisham fan, plus King of Torts used to be only in hardbound, so I picked this up since it finally became "affordable".
Blood and Gold by Anne Rice - Ooooo Marius a book with Marius as a "major" character. I like. Hehehe!
So there.
Now to get enough time to read them. I doubt I'll start on any of them soon, I'm just "stocking up" for a long hiatus from doing anything once I graduate. Hehe!
Besides, most of these will probably be as hard to find as Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code, in time; when bookworms like me find out that these can actually be had at your local NBS branch. Why doesn't NBS stock up on Dan Brown's Da Vinci code as much as Power Books does, Power Books had like 2 large-pentagon-shaped piles last time Iris and I were there. Wouldn't stress my mom as much to get a copy. The Da Vinci Code was ok, not "phenomenal", and surely IMO not "up" there with Neil Gaiman's "Stardust", or anything written by Alan Moore. Hmmm, I think it's unfair to compare between their "line-of-story-telling", or "type-of-story", still the book (Da Vinci Code), just didn't leave me talking about it or pestering anyone else to pick it up as a matter of life and death.
So there.

Did you know, aside from serving out stingy criticisms, and harsh comments, Simon Cowell is one mean race-driver on the track?? Well, Top Gear, one of the best motoring shows on cable says he's fast enough. Check it out here.
I'm getting a dog. Well, Iris got "us" a dog, for our upcoming anniversary, an advanced gift of sorts. It's going to be a dachshund, and I'm excited as hell. I've still to come up with a name, though.

My brother is in the hospital for chest pains, he's been there since yesterday early morning. I hope he gets better tomorrow. It was pretty crazy having to handle his chest-pain attack yesterday night, having both my parents in Kuala Lumpur -- leaving only the three of us brothers to take care of each other. It was my first time to fill-out admitting/admission forms for anyone in a hospital, it was my first time to have to legally answer for my brother, etc. SO I practically became a grown-up yesterday night. It was really an "experience" in itself, which unfortunately I had to experience under such circumstances.
Anyway, when I left them (Job is the assigned bantay, as I've classes during the day) a while ago, Johann was doing ok.
It's weird how things like these start. Johann had diarrhea the whole Sunday. Then he had Chest pains sunday late-night. Weird. Even the doctors has him confined for two-days now, just to do observations.
So there..
I want to let go of my current cable-subscription. I want to get Sky Cable, just for ETC! Hmmm, WoWoW vs. ETC...Hmmm...ETC has Conan O'Brien, SNL, Iron Chef, etc. WoWoW has late-night porn which now -- gets censored, Sopranos, etc. Hmmm... I've to strike an "X"-deal with the cable guy when he visits. Mwahahaha!
