I get most of my new-music news from asianmack (http://www.asianmack.com/). I rarely get to watch MTV, so I tend to follow websites, blogs and whatnot which recommend new music (I dig mostly indie, and a couple of mainstream "standards").

same here, i dont watch much mtv, so most of what i hear is on internet sites, things i hear sporadically on the radio, and simple browsing in HMV or Virgin Megastore (wala pang tatalo sa music selection dito, grabe). :)
