Just finished reading Maus. I cried. It's one of the most beautiful books I've ever read, and probably one book I'd encourage anyone I know to read. Like you. So get it, if you don't have it, or read it if you have the chance. It's just, oh, so beautiful. The dialogue, the story-telling being so personal at a level in which I think the reader'll feel every which emotion Art Spiegelman's characters are feeling. Plus the pretty unconventional way Art Spiegelman chose how his characters would be depicted in the story (the Jews as Mice, Nazi's as Cats, etc.) is just brilliant. Get the book, please. They have a copy of it over at Fully Booked.
